Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting focused on reviewing proposed reforms in federal government recruitment and enhancing the National Job Portal. During the meeting, which took place in Islamabad, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the Committee’s work and approved the report, pending the incorporation of suggestions discussed.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the proposed reforms aim to create a recruitment process that is faster, transparent, and merit-based, while leveraging technology to improve efficiency. The reforms would also ensure that the recruitment function remains within the purview of the government. The report has been recommended to the Prime Minister for final approval.
