Mayor Karachi Partners with The Citizens Foundation to Enhance Education in Lyari

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has initiated a significant educational reform in Lyari by partnering with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) to take over six local schools. This move, formalized through an agreement between the Lyari Town Municipal Corporation and TCF, aims to improve educational infrastructure and provide free schooling to deserving children in the area.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the agreement was signed in the presence of Town Chairman Lyari Khalil Hoath, MPA Yousuf Baloch, and other officials. Mayor Wahab emphasized the importance of educational and healthcare improvements as part of the broader efforts to enhance the quality of life for citizens. The initiative is expected to improve educational facilities and reduce financial burdens on families by offering free education.

The mayor highlighted the role of education as a cornerstone for societal development and expressed optimism that this initiative would significantly benefit the community.
