ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar announced the launch of several digital platforms, including an E-Appeal Management System, Public Interface, Management Dashboard, and Video-Link Facility, aimed at modernizing the Federal Service Tribunal’s operations. These systems are part of the Government of Pakistan’s broader efforts to reform the judicial sector by improving accessibility, transparency, and administrative processes.
According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative marks a significant advancement in the country’s judicial reform agenda. The newly introduced digital platform is designed to streamline the management of appeals from their registration to disposal, enhancing overall judicial efficiency. The Management Dashboard and Web Portal will provide litigants, lawyers, and court officials with expedited access to case information.
The system also features video-link facilities at benches in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi, facilitating virtual court proceedings. This capability is anticipated to mitigate delays due to travel constraints, optimize court time usage, and reduce both administrative and logistical expenses.
