KSrelief Completes Food Security Project in Pakistan, Distributes Aid Across 31 Districts


Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre has finalized its Food Security Support Project 2025-26 in Pakistan, successfully distributing food assistance across 31 districts nationwide. The initiative focused on providing essential food supplies to vulnerable households to address food insecurity in the country.



According to Radio Pakistan, the project covered ten districts in Punjab, five in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seven in Balochistan, six in Sindh, and three districts in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Thousands of food packages, each weighing 97 kilograms, were distributed to families in need. These packages included 80 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of daal Chana, and 2 kg of dates.



The distribution process was executed in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority, Provincial Disaster Management Authorities, district administrations, and other partners. The effort was designed to ensure that aid reached its intended recipients efficiently and transparently.



The initiative underscores the commitment of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre to enhancing food security and delivering humanitarian assistance in Pakistan.
