Karachi: In a ceremony at the Federal Constitutional Court’s Branch Registry in Karachi, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi was sworn in as Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, due to the absence of Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan.
According to Press Information Department, the oath was administered by Justice Kareem Khan Agha with judges, court officers, and officials in attendance. Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan is currently in Saint Petersburg for an international legal conference focused on judicial cooperation and contemporary constitutional issues.
Justice Rizvi will manage the duties of the Chief Justice in his absence, maintaining the court’s operations and administration of constitutional justice. The ceremony underscored the court’s dedication to continuity and governance under the rule of law.
