Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Over 300 Individuals Checked

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have conducted an extensive series of search and combing operations across the federal capital as part of a strategic initiative to combat crime and apprehend criminal elements in the city. The operations resulted in the checking of over 300 individuals, along with numerous households, shops, vehicles, and motorcycles.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, these operations were carried out under the direct supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During the operations, law enforcement personnel inspected a total of 167 households, 15 shops, one hotel, 154 motorcycles, and 62 vehicles. Among those checked, two individuals and 19 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.

The police also reported the arrest of individuals in possession of illegal weapons, with two pistols and associated ammunition being confiscated. SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on criminal activity and bolster security throughout the district.

The police have assured continued and indiscriminate action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers, in various areas of Islamabad.
