ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police, under directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital. These operations, aimed at curbing crime and cracking down on criminal elements, resulted in the checking of over 600 individuals, as well as numerous households, shops, hotels, motorcycles, and vehicles.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During the operations, authorities thoroughly checked 148 households, 33 shops, 48 hotels, 208 motorcycles, and 92 vehicles. Additionally, 12 individuals and 22 motorcycles deemed suspicious were taken to the police station for further verification. Police also arrested individuals found in possession of illegal weapons, recovering two pistols of various calibers and ammunition.

SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that the operations aim to enhance security and tighten measures against criminal activity across Islamabad. The police continue to take indiscriminate action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers, in various parts of the district.
