ISLAMABAD, Acting on the specific instructions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police is resolutely committed to maintaining law and order within the federal capital, as stated by a public relations officer.

According to Islamabad Capital Police mentioned that personnel stationed at the Margalla Road checkpoint are rigorously executing their duties to enhance the security of the high security zone. This involves thorough verification of individuals’ credentials entering the zone and diligently recording vehicular details.

The high security zone includes crucial government and private entities, diplomatic missions, and other significant assets, making their protection paramount. Now, government staff entering this zone are mandated to display their department-specific identification cards. Moreover, those with private engagements within the zone are encouraged to possess the necessary documentation and fully cooperate with the on-duty officers.

Senior officials have underscored the importance of diligence and professionalism to the personnel on duty, advocating for a constructive relationship with the city’s residents. The public is strongly encouraged to promptly report any suspicious activities or individuals to the “Pukar-15” helpline.
