PHALIA: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem has taken action following a shooting incident in Phalia, Mandi Bahauddin, where two car occupants were killed. The incident occurred as the victims were returning from a court appearance. In response, IG Punjab has requested a detailed report from RPO Gujranwala and mandated swift action for the arrest of those responsible.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the IG Punjab has directed DPO Mandi Bahauddin to utilize all available resources to apprehend the suspects. Following the incident, DPO Mandi Bahauddin, along with senior police officers and forensic teams, arrived at the scene to gather evidence. Special teams have been established for the swift arrest of the suspects. The victims of the shooting have been identified as 45-year-old Zafar and 26-year-old Hasnain.
