Srinagar, August 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): Indian police authorities have booked a youth under black law, Public Safety Act (PSA) in Bandipora district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The police authorities booked Maqsood Ahmad for his continued stance and demand for right to self-determination and holding of a free and fair plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir under the United Nations resolutions.

He was lodged at Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal in Jammu, police said. The Public Safety Act (PSA), 1978, is a black law that allows the detention of any individual for up to two years without a trial or charge.
