Srinagar, October 12, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly condemned the ongoing brutal repression by Indian occupation regime in the territory. Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar said that different Indian agencies like National Investigation Agency in the garb of raids are indulging in worst kind of human rights violations across Jammu and Kashmir.
He said summoning around 50 teachers and terrorising them in the name of investigation is yet another brutal tactic being employed by trigger-happy Indian occupation forces. He said that the killing of youth in Islamabad and Hajin adds to the long list of heinous war crimes perpetrated by occupational forces with full backing of their political masters in New Delhi.
In last on week, he added, more than one thousand youth have been arrested by different Indian forces and agencies. “Pro-freedom leaders and activists are systematically targeted for standing up against the tyrant and colonial regime of New Delhi and its imperialist occupation.”
From the past 75 years, Jammu and Kashmir has been turned into a Nazi type concentration camp where people are facing worst kind of brutalities under the illegal and illegitimate occupation of India. However, Bilal Siddiqui reiterated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would continue to struggle against illegal and illegitimate occupation of New Delhi and would never surrender before India’s worst military might and colonialism.
Meanwhile, Democratic Political Movement Chairman Khawaja Firdous in a statement in Srinagar denounced the arrest of party General Secretary Pir Hilal Ahmad by Indian forces during a raid on his house and his shifting to an unknown location. He said, New Delhi should know that it cannot suppress the freedom struggle through arrests. He urged the international community to come forward in a big way to rescue the Kashmiris from Indian aggression.
Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Abdul Samad Inqilabi while denouncing killings said that India has made life of the Kashmiri people hell in the territory. He made it clear that India could not deter Kashmiris from their struggle for right to self-determination through military might.
Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) Spokesman Mohammad Iqbal in a statement issued in Srinagar said that bloodshed in Kashmir was the result of non-resolution of the Kashmir dispute. “If India is sincere in stopping the bloodshed and the human loss in the region, then it should come forward and start a meaningful dialogue with Pakistan and real representatives of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Vice Chairman Abdul Majeed Mir in a statement in Islamabad while condemning the fresh killings in IIOJK said that Indian forces were breaching sanctity of women during house-to-house searches in Shopian and other areas of the occupied territory.
