Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi convened a meeting with senior police officials to address key administrative and professional matters involving the city’s police force.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting emphasized reviewing security arrangements, traffic management, logistics support, and police welfare. Officers presented updates on ongoing initiatives within their respective departments, and the IGP assigned specific tasks to ensure the timely and effective completion of these initiatives. Rizvi underscored the importance of professional responsibility and close monitoring of current projects.
The IGP also called for improvements in security and traffic operations, urging officers to effectively utilize available resources and strengthen welfare measures for police personnel. He highlighted the necessity of a robust administrative system, strong coordination, and the timely execution of assigned duties to enhance the overall efficacy of the Islamabad Police.
