IG Punjab Allocates 15 Lakh Rupees for Medical Aid of Police Employees

Lahore, in a significant move towards enhancing the welfare of police personnel, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has released 15 lakh rupees for the medical expenses of five police officials. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to support the health and wellbeing of police employees.

According to Punjab Police, the beneficiaries of this financial assistance include Traffic Warden Muhammad Irfan, who received 5 lakh rupees for burn injury treatment, and PHP Constable Muhammad Khalid, who was given 5 lakh rupees for an artificial leg. Additionally, Constable Khurram Ali Shah was allocated 3 lakh rupees for his medical expenses. Constables Khalid Hussain of Lahore and Tanveer Anjum of Nankana were each provided with 1 lakh rupees for their respective treatments.

In a related development, Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated Dr. Majid Ali, a deputy of traffic police, on completing his PhD in Urdu literature. Dr. Anwar met with Dr. Ali at the Central Police Office, where Dr. Ali presented his PhD thesis, completed at Garrison University, Lahore.
