Lucerne: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, alongside key military officials, is set to engage in high-level talks in Lucerne, Switzerland, focusing on the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. The discussions involve delegations from Iran, Qatar, and the United States and mark the first significant diplomatic exchange since the memorandum’s signing on June 17, 2026.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan’s delegation, led by Prime Minister Sharif and including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, aims to further the understanding between Iran and the United States, as outlined in the Islamabad MoU.
