Islamabad: Pakistan has dispatched 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Nepal to assist with relief operations following severe floods and landslides. The aid, organized by the National Disaster Management Authority, was transported via a chartered flight from Islamabad to Kathmandu under the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, the relief package included essential items such as tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits, and medicines aimed at supporting the affected communities. A send-off ceremony took place at Islamabad International Airport, attended by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NDMA.

The aid initiative underscores Pakistan’s solidarity with Nepal during this challenging period.
