Shangla: In a move demonstrating federal support for disaster-affected communities, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has distributed financial assistance to the families of 34 coal mine workers who were killed in a mining incident in Balochistan. Each bereaved family received two million rupees in ex-gratia assistance, according to the NDMA’s recent actions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the NDMA team personally handed over the cheques in Shangla, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This distribution of federal assistance signifies the government’s solidarity with the grieving families and its ongoing commitment to providing support during times of disaster and tragedy.
