London: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in London to commence an official visit to the United Kingdom. The visit, scheduled from Monday to Friday, includes high-level meetings with key figures in the UK government and international organizations.
According to Radio Pakistan, during his stay, Senator Dar will engage in discussions with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Minister of State for Pakistan Stephen Doughty. These meetings are expected to address bilateral relations and mutual interests between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
In addition to his engagements with UK government officials, Senator Dar is set to meet Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization, to deliberate on regional maritime security. He will also confer with Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, as part of his itinerary.
