Global Poll Reveals Widespread Perception of U.S. and Israel Responsibility in Iran Conflict

New York: A recent poll conducted by the Gallup International Association highlights a significant global sentiment regarding the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. The survey, spanning 15 countries with approximately 13,000 respondents, reveals that a majority of those aware of the conflict are hesitant to support any side, largely view the U.S. and Israel as responsible for the war’s inception, and anticipate prolonged instability and economic repercussions as a result.

According to Gilani Research Foundation, which released the press statement, the poll marks the first multi-country snapshot of public opinion on the Iran conflict. The results show a notable 60% of respondents refusing to take sides, with 44% ascribing equal responsibility for the war to the U.S. and Israel. Only a minority, 16%, express support for either the U.S.-Israel coalition or Iran. Skepticism over potential regime change in Iran is prevalent, with 47% doubting its success, and a significant portion of respondents expecting the conflict to continue for many months.

The poll, conducted in regions including Latin America, Western Europe, and various parts of Asia, indicates a broad expectation of economic harm, with 86% anticipating financial damage. As the conflict unfolds, public opinion, even among traditional allies, increasingly isolates the U.S. stance, leaving it without widespread international backing.
