Global Health Security Summit in Islamabad to Formulate Epidemic Response Strategy, Says Health Minister


Islamabad, Dr. Nadeem Jan, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Health, announced that an integrated strategy to combat epidemics will be developed at the upcoming Global Health Security Summit in Islamabad.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a media briefing in Islamabad, Dr. Jan outlined the summit’s objectives, including the formulation of an action plan to bolster the health systems of poorer countries. He emphasized that the summit would provide a crucial platform for international and national health experts to exchange knowledge and collaborate on creating a safer world.



Dr. Nadeem Jan highlighted the significance of hosting this international conference, asserting that it would project a positive image of Pakistan. He also stated that the summit would demonstrate Pakistan’s potential to play a pivotal role in the global health sector.
