Former Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah Visits Matli to Offer Condolences on Former MPA’s Passing

Matli, Former Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, visited Matli to offer condolences on the passing of former Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Haji Abdul Ghafoor Nizamani. During his visit, Shah also engaged in a brief interaction with the media, discussing the People’s Party’s participation in the upcoming general elections and the potential district status for Matli.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, Shah visited Matli directly from Karachi on a private condolence trip. He met with the deceased’s son, former Chairman Abdul Rauf Nizamani, and other family members, reciting Fatiha to pay respects. The visit was marked by the presence of other political leaders, including former provincial assembly member Dr. Muhammad Halipota and Syed Ijaz Shah Bukhari of the People’s Party.

During his interaction with the media, Shah, a long-time friend of the late Haji Abdul Ghafoor Nizamani, addressed various topics. He confirmed the full participation of the People’s Party in the forthcoming general elections, reflecting the party’s ongoing commitment to the political process.

Shah also responded to inquiries about making Matli a district, indicating that the establishment of Matli as a district is a long-standing demand of its citizens. He expressed confidence that this aspiration would be fulfilled by the People’s Party government after winning the upcoming elections.

The visit saw a warm welcome from the elders of the Nizamani community in Nizamani Mohalla, where Shah arrived to offer his condolences. The trip underscores the continuing engagement of political figures in Sindh’s local affairs and the significance of maintaining strong community ties.
