RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, has pledged to enhance defense collaboration and strategic engagement between Pakistan and Malaysia. In a meeting with Malaysian Minister for Home Affairs Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, the Malaysian Ambassador to Pakistan, and a high-level delegation, Munir underscored Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering ties.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions covered regional security dynamics and matters of mutual interest. Both parties reaffirmed the strong bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia and expressed their determination to expand cooperation in areas of shared interest.
