Islamabad, November 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has expressed deep shock over the abduction of Senior Journalist Syed Irfan Raza last night. He said, “It is highly deplorable that a professional and dedicated journalist was abducted.” He expressed these views in a letter written to Journalist Syed Irfan Raza today.

The Speaker said that Journalist Syed Irfan Raza always remains steadfast and dedicated to his Professional duties. He also expressed thankfulness to Allah Almighty for the journalist’s safe recovery and prayers for his safety. The Speaker stressed the need to investigate the matter thoroughly. While acknowledging the professionalism of journalists, he expressed the belief the ordeal that journalists went through would make them stronger and more steadfast in his cause.
