Eid Greetings from Pakistan’s Armed Forces Leadership Highlight Service to Motherland

Islamabad: The leadership of Pakistan’s Armed Forces has extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation, emphasizing the significance of service and defense as central to the holiday’s spirit.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, conveyed their best wishes on behalf of the Armed Forces. The leaders highlighted that Eid underscores values such as unity, compassion, and gratitude, and for the military, these values are embodied in the duty of protecting the country.

The military leadership also paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of the armed forces personnel who work tirelessly, often away from their families, to maintain peace and security in Pakistan. They acknowledged the crucial support provided by the families of these servicemen and women, which is instrumental in the fulfillment of their duties.
