Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrated Nationwide with Religious Observance

Lahore: Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country with religious observance as communities gather for prayer congregations at various locations, including mosques, open spaces, and Eidgahs. According to Radio Pakistan, religious leaders, known as Ulema, delivered sermons emphasizing the significance of the festival, while special prayers were offered for national progress and the welfare of the Muslim Ummah.

In Lahore, numerous congregations took place, notably at the historical Badshahi Mosque. Peshawar’s main gathering was held at Eidgah Peshawar, where Governor Faisal Karim Kundi participated and extended Eid greetings to attendees. The government has implemented strict security measures nationwide to ensure a peaceful celebration.

In Quetta, over 200 prayer congregations were conducted, with the principal gathering at Eidgah Toghi Road. Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti attended prayers in different locations. In Muzaffarabad, the central congregation was led by Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore at Central Eid Gah, followed by the exchange of greetings with the public. AJK Acting President Ch Latif Akbar also participated in prayers in Muzaffarabad.
