Lahore: A meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth reviewed the ongoing construction and repair work on the carriageway of the Ring Road Northern Loop. Officials of the Ring Road Authority briefed the Provincial Minister on the ongoing works.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the briefing informed that seal coat work is underway on the main carriageway of the Northern Loop by the Ring Road Authority. Road rehabilitation and durability work on the main carriageway is also in progress. Additionally, rehabilitation work on the service road from Quaid-e-Azam Road to LEBP is underway.
The sub-base work under Packages I, II, and III of the service road rehabilitation project has been completed. Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth stated that practical measures are underway for road rehabilitation and improvement of travel facilities.
