DIG Islamabad Holds Open Court to Address Citizens’ Complaints

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq recently conducted an open court at his office, aiming to tackle public grievances and provide swift solutions.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court initiative is part of a broader directive from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, urging senior officers to organize similar forums throughout the district. During the session, DIG Tariq highlighted the availability of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” for citizens to register their complaints.

The initiative underscores the commitment of the Islamabad Police to engage with the community actively and address their concerns. Zonal Superintendents of Police have also been instructed to hold open courts in their respective areas to enhance accessibility and responsiveness. The police department emphasizes that listening to and resolving public grievances is a top priority, encouraging residents to express their issues freely at these gatherings.
