Washington D.C.: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, to discuss continued cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister reflected on his recent meeting with the Saudi Finance Minister, emphasizing that their discussions underscored robust bilateral relations. During this meeting, both parties addressed the implications of the ongoing Middle East conflict on global energy security and its potential economic impacts.
Minister Aurangzeb conveyed optimism for a swift resolution to the conflict, stressing the importance of sustained collaboration between the two nations. The dialogue reaffirmed their enduring partnership and mutual commitment to enhancing economic and development ties.
