Kuwait City: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, engaged in a telephonic conversation with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, to discuss significant regional issues and bilateral relations.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the discussion, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister extended congratulations to Senator Dar on the recent signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, a tripartite pact between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye. The conversation also provided an opportunity for both ministers to exchange views on the regional situation, with a particular focus on Occupied East Jerusalem.

In addition to regional matters, the dialogue covered the state of Pakistan-Kuwait bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest. This included follow-up actions from the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister’s recent visit to Pakistan and discussions on enhancing cooperation and investment in critical sectors. Both sides expressed a commitment to maintaining close engagement moving forward.
