Riyadh: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed Ishaq Dar departed for Saudi Arabia on Saturday to take part in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Riyadh. This event marks a significant diplomatic engagement for Pakistan as regional leaders gather to discuss pressing issues.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the official X handle of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that Dar will also join the Pakistan delegation, which is spearheaded by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, at the second Arab-Islamic Summit. This summit, convened by Saudi Arabia, is set to address the situation in the Middle East, with a focus on the ongoing Israeli actions against Palestine.
