Deputy PM Ishaq Dar and Iranian FM Seyyed Abbas Araghchi Discuss Regional Developments

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss regional and international developments. The dialogue focused on the evolving situation in the region and efforts to foster peace and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, Mr. Dar elaborated on the recently signed Makkah Joint Defence Agreement involving Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye. The agreement aims to strengthen strategic cooperation and contribute to regional peace and security. Mr. Araghchi expressed his gratitude to Mr. Dar for outlining the agreement’s key aspects.

Both leaders concluded the discussion by agreeing to maintain close contact on issues of mutual interest.
