Islamabad: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan chaired a significant meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing traffic flow and management across the federal capital. The meeting, attended by the SP Traffic and all zonal DSPs, aimed to ensure smooth traffic flow, effective management strategies, and improved travel facilities for citizens.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, CTO Islamabad directed officers to execute their responsibilities with professionalism and dedication. Emphasizing the importance of removing obstacles to traffic flow, she called for prompt attention to citizens’ travel-related issues and effective monitoring of major roads.

The CTO instructed zonal officers to consistently monitor traffic conditions in their areas, particularly during peak hours, and to implement coordinated strategies to maintain smooth traffic flow. Officers were also guided to ensure courteous behavior, responsible public interactions, and improved service delivery.

CTO Islamabad underlined the necessity of utilizing all available resources to facilitate citizens and ensure non-discriminatory compliance with traffic laws. She reiterated the commitment of Islamabad Traffic Police to continue implementing effective measures for safer and more convenient travel, while taking legal action against traffic law violators.
