Corps Commanders Praise Government Efforts to Resolve Middle East Conflict


Rawalpindi: The Corps Commanders’ Conference has commended the government’s efforts to end the ongoing war in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of restraint, dialogue, and de-escalation. This sentiment was expressed during the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Forum reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to diplomacy and engagement, while also honoring the sacrifices of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who died defending the country. The Chief of Army Staff praised the Armed Forces for their professionalism and commitment to national defense and counter-terrorism operations.



The conference reviewed the security environment and vowed to eliminate terrorist proxies supported by external forces. It maintained that ‘Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq’ would continue until terrorist safe havens and the use of Afghan soil against Pakistan are eliminated.



The Forum condemned recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical complex, viewing them as detrimental to peace efforts. It rejected disinformation and allegations from India and expressed concern over human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.



In closing, the Chief of Army Staff urged commanders to uphold operational readiness and adapt to threats, expressing confidence in the Armed Forces’ capacity to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and integrity.
