Corps Commanders’ Conference Reaffirms Commitment to National Security Amid Regional Tensions


RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS and CDF, led the 275th Corps Commanders’ Conference at the General Headquarters, where participants paid tribute to the martyrs of the Armed Forces and civilians, reviewed security challenges, and reaffirmed their commitment to Pakistan’s national security and regional stability.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, the conference acknowledged the sacrifices of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies, and civilians, asserting that their legacy forms the foundation of Pakistan’s security and unity. The COAS and CDF expressed satisfaction with the military’s operational readiness and lauded the ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.



The Forum conducted a thorough assessment of the internal and external security landscape, resolving to maintain operations to dismantle terrorist networks and disrupt their infrastructure. The conference noted the degradation of terrorist capabilities through Operation Ghazb lil Haq and criticized the Afghan Taliban regime for harboring terrorists, rejecting their allegations against Pakistan as disinformation.



Regional security developments were also discussed, with an emphasis on restraint and stability. The Forum reiterated Pakistan’s role in advocating peace and acknowledged the significance of collective responsibility in the region. Additionally, the conference celebrated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, emphasizing national unity and resilience against challenges.



In conclusion, the COAS and CDF directed commanders to maintain vigilance and adaptability, focusing on professional excellence and proactive measures to counter threats. The Forum condemned actions in IIOJK and reaffirmed support for the Kashmiri cause.
