Lahore, The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as CBD Punjab, has announced the completion of 100 out of 148 retaining piles for the Walton Road Railway Crossing Flyover, a key component of the CBD Punjab Boulevard project. This milestone represents a significant advancement in the infrastructure development of Punjab.
According to Punjab Central Business District Development, the project’s progress was highlighted during a site visit by CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin. Executive Director Technical, Riaz Hussain, provided an in-depth update on the developments of both the CBD Punjab Boulevard and the Walton Road Railway Crossing Flyover, emphasizing the careful planning and execution that has gone into these projects.
The site visit was attended by prominent officials, including Chairman CBD Punjab Fazeel Asif Jah, Executive Director Commercial CBD Punjab Mohammed Omer, and other senior representatives from notable organizations like Nespak and NLC. Their presence underscored the collaborative effort and support for the project.
With a budget allocation of approximately 9.1 billion PKR, CBD Punjab is dedicated to establishing a modern and interconnected business district in the region. The CBD Punjab Boulevard, featuring a three-lane two-way flyover, spans 4.2 kilometers and aims to provide a seamless connection from Kalma Chowk to Walton Road, linking the CBD Punjab Quaid District with the CBD Punjab Bab District.
CEO Imran Amin expressed satisfaction with the pace of development and reiterated CBD Punjab’s commitment to transforming Punjab’s infrastructure in line with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi. He emphasized the project’s role in creating a dynamic, modern business hub in the region.
