In another distressing development, the body of Stanzin Dolkar, who went missing on November 26 last year, was discovered in a frozen state in the Zanaskar area of Kargil district. Dolkar’s disappearance had led to the filing of a missing person report by her father, and her body was only located following a tip-off from locals in the Zanaskar region.
