Lahore, China has pledged to work diligently with Pakistan to complete the ML-1 project, as confirmed by Team Leader Zhu Mangrui and Director of the Planning Division of the Science and Technology Department Wang Chen during their visit to the Railways Headquarters in Lahore.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Zhu Mangrui highlighted the benefits of the ML-1 project, noting that it would lead to the establishment of economic zones in Pakistan and significantly reduce transportation costs. The team assured that all issues related to financing, design, and other aspects of the project would be resolved through discussions with Pakistani authorities. Railways Chief Executive Officer Amir Baloch described the ML-1 project as a game-changer for the country’s transportation sector, signaling a revolutionary shift in Pakistan’s infrastructure development.
