Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has pledged to reinforce Pakistan’s democratic framework, emphasizing the importance of constitutional supremacy, parliamentary governance, the rule of law, and public involvement in governance processes.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement marking the International Day of Parliamentarism, the Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan’s Constitution ensures a democratic system based on representative governance. He underscored the role of the parliament as the primary constitutional body that channels the people’s aspirations and concerns into legislative action.
