NPF Outlines Strategic Reforms for Police Welfare and Housing


Islamabad: In a recent high-level meeting, the National Police Foundation (NPF) charted a comprehensive roadmap to enhance police welfare, housing, and institutional reforms, as well as to promote the effective use of modern technology.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was chaired by Managing Director Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and included senior NPF officials who reviewed ongoing projects and strategic plans. A significant focus was on ensuring that the recruitment process conducted under the NPF testing and assessment service remains transparent and merit-based to uphold institutional credibility.



The meeting also evaluated the progress of various NPF housing projects and development activities. MD Rizvi emphasized the need for all projects to adhere to prescribed quality standards and to be completed within agreed timelines. He reiterated the importance of maintaining transparency and efficiency in project implementation.



Participants discussed IT initiatives aimed at digitization to improve administrative systems and service delivery. There were proposals to enhance the institution’s overall performance and make it more citizen-friendly.



Additionally, the meeting considered expanding welfare programs and improving facilities for police personnel across Pakistan. MD Rizvi highlighted the NPF’s commitment to promoting police welfare, ensuring quality housing, and utilizing modern technology to bolster public confidence and institutional performance.



The meeting concluded with directives for continuous monitoring of ongoing projects and strengthening coordination to achieve organizational goals, aiming to provide improved facilities and high-quality services to police personnel.
