Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Reviews Ramadan Control Room Operations


Lahore, In an unannounced visit to the Model Ramzan Bazaar Control Room at Poonch House, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif inspected the monitoring mechanism in place for the oversight of the provincial model market control rooms during the holy month of Ramadan.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the Chief Minister examined the district and PITB dashboards designed to track the distribution of Ramadan Nigahban hampers. She received briefings on the real-time data and emphasized the efficient delivery of these hampers directly to beneficiaries’ doorsteps. Asserting her commitment to public service, she expressed zero tolerance for any negligence or obstacles in the distribution process.



Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz announced the development of District Score Cards to evaluate the performance of district administrations based on their success in delivering Ramadan Nigahban hampers and resolving related issues. She indicated that adherence to SOPs would be strictly monitored, with penalties for any infractions.



With the aim to reach all needy families by the 10th of Ramadan, the Chief Minister instructed that home delivery information be integrated into the monitoring dashboards. High-ranking officials, including Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Secretary Industries Ehsan Bhutta, and DG Industries Asif Ali Farrukh, were present during the Chief Minister’s inspection.



The visit demonstrates the Punjab government’s dedication to ensuring that the rights and provisions for citizens are delivered efficiently and transparently, especially during the time of religious observance.
