Islamabad, The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, has reconstituted the National Judicial Automation Committee (NJAC) to enhance the efficiency of the judiciary. The committee, headed by Supreme Court Judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, will focus on digitizing court processes and records, introducing mobile applications for better access to justice, and improving case management.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The NJAC aims to automate and integrate the judiciary, including the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in legal processes and research. As per the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the committee will develop a national plan based on technology and AI to improve the efficiency of judicial service delivery.
