Auditor-General of Pakistan Opens AGP Audit Complex in Islamabad


Islamabad: The Auditor-General of Pakistan officially inaugurated the AGP Audit Complex in Islamabad, marking a significant advancement in enhancing workplace facilities and the operational capacity of the audit institution in the capital. According to Press Information Department, the Auditor-General, Mr. Maqbool Ahmad Gondal, emphasized the critical role of the audit institution in fostering transparency, accountability, and financial discipline within public sector organizations.



Mr. Gondal highlighted the importance of a modern and well-equipped working environment for audit officers and staff, stating that efforts will be made to provide digital resources and training programs to boost the professional skills of the audit workforce. He underscored that effective auditing and accountability are essential for strengthening the national economy and safeguarding public resources.



During the event, the Auditor-General toured the newly established complex, noting facilities such as the mosque and Day-Care Centre. The ceremony, which included flag hoisting and the recitation of the Holy Quran, was attended by senior officials from the Department of the Auditor-General of Pakistan and other distinguished guests.
