APHC-AJK Welcomes Pir Ali Raza Bukhari as UN Permanent Representative

ISLAMABAD, A delegation from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter paid a visit to Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, a former member of the AJK Legislative Assembly, in Islamabad.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation congratulated Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, the Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Basahan Sharif in Haveli (AJK), on his new role as the permanent representative to the United Nations. This appointment was made by the Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights (PCSWandHR), a civil society organization with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The APHC-AJK delegation expressed their optimism that Pir Ali Raza Bukhari would effectively use this international platform to bring attention to the human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir by Indian troops and advocate for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.

A special prayer session for the Kashmiri martyrs was also held during the visit. The delegation, led by Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, included prominent members such as Syed Yousuf Nasim, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, Nisar Mirza, Syed Aijaz Rehmani, and Nazeer Karnai.
