Karachi, Abdul Majid Khan, previously the Deputy Director of the Sindh Information Department, has been promoted to the position of Director Information Grade 19. The Services General and Coordination Department officially issued the notification of his promotion on January 6.
According to Sindh Governor House, Khan’s promotion was initially approved during the Provincial Selection Board II meeting held on August 09 of the previous year. With over two decades of experience in public relations and media management, Abdul Majid Khan has been serving as the Public Relations Officer to the Governor of Sindh. His extensive career also includes previous roles as the Deputy Director of Press Information and as the Public Relations Officer for several ministers and the Home Secretary.
This promotion recognizes Khan’s long-standing contributions to the field of information and public relations within the Sindh government. His advancement to Director Information Grade 19 is a testament to his expertise and dedication in the realm of media management and public relations in the service of the provincial government.
