Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that 18,500 seats remain available under the long package of the Government Hajj Scheme for 2027. This development comes as the ministry continues to facilitate pilgrims planning to perform Hajj under this scheme.
According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesperson for the ministry reported that 88,700 intending pilgrims have already deposited the first installment of their Hajj dues. The spokesperson further disclosed that, within three days, the ministry has collected over 55 billion rupees through the Hajj Portal managed by the National Information Technology Board.
The ministry’s spokesperson emphasized the importance for intending pilgrims to complete their details and payments on the Hajj Portal promptly. The booking for the 40-day Hajj package will be closed once the required number of pilgrims is reached, marking a critical deadline for those planning to participate in the pilgrimage in 2027.
