KARACHI: Restoration efforts on University Road are nearing completion, providing a much-needed respite for local residents who have long faced traffic congestion and commuting difficulties. According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the completion of this project represents a significant step in addressing public concerns about infrastructure and commuting issues.

A spokesperson for the Mayor of Karachi, Karamullah Waqasi, announced that the newly constructed Meteorology Flyover has been officially opened to the public. This development is expected to ease commuting challenges and improve traffic flow on one of the city’s busiest routes.

The restoration of University Road is seen as a crucial move towards resolving persistent issues faced by commuters. The project is anticipated to significantly enhance the flow of traffic, providing smoother transitions for daily travelers.

In addition to road improvements, Karamullah Waqasi also highlighted measures taken by the City Wardens Department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to address issues related to theft and damage to urban infrastructure. These efforts, carried out under the directives of Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab, are aimed at preventing the theft of lights and other essential equipment.
