Islamabad: In a bid to resolve public grievances promptly, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, conducted an open court session at his office. This initiative, directed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, was part of an open-door policy aimed at addressing the immediate concerns of citizens.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, citizens brought forward complaints primarily concerning land encroachments and other issues. SSP Operations paid close attention to these concerns and directed relevant officers to initiate legal action on the submitted applications, requiring them to report back within a specified time frame.
During the session, SSP Operations emphasized the Islamabad Police’s commitment to a zero-tolerance stance on violence against women and children, stating that providing maximum relief to the public is a primary objective. He assured that the rule of law will be maintained and underscored the importance of deciding on all applications based on merit. He reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity remains a paramount concern.
