Speaker of National Assembly Highlights Strengthening Economic and Parliamentary Ties with Japan

Islamabad, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the importance of enhancing economic, trade, and parliamentary relations between Pakistan and Japan, aiming to open a new era of regional prosperity and development. This was articulated during his meeting with the Japanese Ambassador Mitsuhiro Wada at the Parliament House in Islamabad.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the Speaker expressed a strong desire to deepen the long-standing cordial relations with Japan, highlighting the role of parliamentary diplomacy and the potential in sectors like agriculture. He also urged for more frequent exchanges of parliamentary delegations to bolster these ties further. The Japanese Ambassador reciprocated by acknowledging Pakistan’s economic potential and assured continued support for socio-economic development, underscoring the strategic importance of Pakistan in Japan’s South Asian outreach.
