SP Industrial Area Zone Intensifies Actions Against Crime and Proclaimed Offenders

Islamabad: In a move to bolster crime prevention efforts, Superintendent of Police (SP) Industrial Area Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan convened a significant meeting focusing on crime control strategies. The meeting, attended by Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs), underscored the need for rigorous action against criminal activities and individuals with previous criminal records.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting reviewed the current crime landscape, ongoing investigations, and actions against criminal elements. SP Awan instructed officers to enhance their efforts in crime prevention and to pursue investigations with merit and efficiency. He emphasized the importance of concluding pending investigations swiftly.

SP Awan also directed officers to crack down on illegal possession and display of weapons, as well as aerial firing, in line with the “Say No to Weapon” campaign. The focus is on apprehending proclaimed offenders and suspects with outstanding warrants.

The directives aim to ensure timely justice and resolution of grievances for citizens. SP Awan reaffirmed the priority of protecting lives and property and maintaining effective policing in Islamabad.
