Islamabad, November 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque has said several companies are manufacturing cellular phones in the country. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said legislation was also done to promote local manufacturing of mobile phones. The Minister said investment has been made to provide better broadband connectivity. He said over the last four years, sixty five billion rupees were spent to connect the unserved and underserved areas with the digital world.
