DIG Islamabad and SSP Operations Address Public Concerns in Open Courts

Islamabad: In a move aimed at fostering transparency and accountability, the DIG Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, and SSP Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, held open courts at their offices to address public grievances and issues faced by police officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the initiative was conducted under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Ali Rizvi. The open courts provided a platform for citizens to voice their complaints, which were subsequently addressed by the senior police officers present. The officials assured that the complaints would be marked to the relevant officers for timely action based on merit, with reports to be submitted within a designated timeframe.

The police officials emphasized a strict stance against bribery and corruption, advocating for a zero-tolerance policy. They reiterated their commitment to securing the lives and property of citizens, promising that such interactions would continue in the future to provide maximum relief to the public.

The officers also highlighted that these open court sessions are integral to promoting a culture of friendly policing, ensuring self-accountability, and facilitating the immediate resolution of citizens’ problems. They affirmed that the protection of life, property, and the self-respect of citizens remains a top priority for the Islamabad Police.
